Park University To Hold Continuing Education Course On Facility Security Awareness

NEWS RELEASE The session will provide facility employees, users and stakeholders with a basic awareness and understanding of security, thereby strengthening the facility's security posture. The workshop will enable facilities to provide its users with a general level of security awareness training and enable the general facility user/employee to become cognizant of an enhanced emphasis on security, and how to identify and respond to potential threats to the security of the facility.
Park University's Office of Continuing Education will host a course on "Basic Facility Security Awareness" on Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the University's Downtown Kansas City, Mo., Campus Center, 911 Main St., 8th floor (Room 803).
Registration for the event is $149 and is limited to 25 participants. Lunch is included and each participant will receive a certificate of completion from Park University. To register for the event or for more information, visit www.park.edu/continuinged/enrichment.html.
